Lovell teen missing since Feb. 11

CODY (WNE) — Kourtnee Roper, 17, has been missing since last week, and family is concerned for her physical well being.

Roper, a Lovell native, suffers from bipolar disorder and recently started a new medication regimen that her mother, Sarah Pitt, says she’s struggled to adjust to.

Roper left her home on Wednesday, Feb. 11, in a red Buick with a black front bumper and Wyoming county 9 plates. She was last seen wearing grey Nike sweatpants and a camo sweatshirt.

Pitt said her daughter left her cell phone, wallet, purse and driver’s license at home but took her medication with her, deepening the family’s concern.

“All of our leads are dry,” Pitt said on Monday morning.

Roper has previously attempted suicide twice, most recently in October 2025, Pitt said, and she is currently manic.

The family has asked anyone who believes they may have seen her to contact their local law enforcement office and then notify the Lovell Police Department at 307-548-2215 or the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation at 307-777-7181.

A $5,000 reward has been offered by the family for any information leading to the safe return of Kourtnee.
