JUDITH JOY ANKENEY

Judith Joy Ankeney of Newcastle, Wyo., passed away peacefully in her home on Jan. 13, 2021, at the age of 80, from liver cancer.
Judy was born on April 7, 1940, in Pierre, S.D. to Clyde and Ollie Hultman. Her parents later moved to Rapid City, S.D., where she was raised and attended school.
She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending many years trucking with her husband. Judy also loved spending time with her grandkids and taking scenic drives.
Judy will be loved and missed by her surviving husband of 33 years, Burley Jacob Ankeney (BJ); daughters from her first marriage, Jodi and Dede; her four grandchildren, Jared, Erin, Travis and Tanner; her sister, Kay; brother, Tony; and half-brother, Neil.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ollie; and half-sisters, Charlotte and Shirley.
At Judy’s request, no services will be held. Condolences may be sent to their home in Newcastle.
