Join us for the fair
Every summer, the Weston County Fair transforms our community into a celebration of tradition, talent, and pride. It’s more than a week of events — it’s a chance for the community to come together to celebrate the hard work of so many.
From the vibrant displays in the exhibit hall to the energy of the junior livestock sale, the fair offers a much-needed escape before the school year rolls in. It’s a chance to cheer on our local youth, reconnect with friends, and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun under the summer sun.
This year, we invite you to join the real heroes of the fair — the hardworking kids, the dedicated volunteers, and the tireless families behind every project, every animal, and every event. They’ve put in the sweat and heart, and now it’s time to celebrate
their efforts.
Whether you’re into rodeos, tough trucks, muddy messy fun, or just want to walk through the exhibits or barns, there’s something for everyone. The evenings are especially packed with excitement, offering entertainment the whole family can enjoy.
We know the refrain: “there’s nothing to do around here.” For this week, though, Weston County has something happening every single day. Don’t miss your chance to be part of it!
And if you can’t make it in person, no worries. The News Letter Journal will be your eyes and ears at the fair, capturing all the highlights in photos and video.
So grab your hat, bring the kids, and head to the Weston County Fairgrounds from July 26 to Aug. 3. We’ll see you there!
