Joe Grant Miller, born on April 17, 1976, in Grants, New Mexico, passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 49, in
Weston County. 

Throughout his life, Joe was known for his vibrant spirit and the laughter he brought into every room he entered. His energetic nature and sense of humor endeared him, as he was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. 

Joe is survived by his loving family, including his daughters, Liberty (Ted) Leipold and children Kayden, Izzy, and Jackson Leipold, Brittany Miller, Nickalena Schantle and child Ayshher Royce, Kyleena Schantle; and his sons, Austin (Rachel) Miller and children Athena, Gunner, and Osiris Miller, Aaron Schantle, LJ Miller and his ex-wives, Tamara (Jay) Riley and Betty Miller. He also leaves behind his parents, Bernard and Scarlett Miller; and siblings, Tammy (Jason) Burbank and Ronnie (Heather) Miller. 

He is preceded in death by his niece, Courtney (Boo) Miller; his late father-in-law, Roy (RD) Manning; grandmother, Lavonne Guenthart; and grandfather, Roy Stitt. 

Joe enjoyed the simple pleasures, such as hunting with
his brother, Ronnie, and nephew, Cody, sharing his passion for art with his  daughter, Kyleena, teaching his son, Aaron, how to hunt, and driving  his truck with Nickalena.
His favorite spots to relax included the Black Hills where he spent most of his time camping with his family.

The memorial services to celebrate Joe’s life will take place at Meridian Mortuary in Newcastle, Wyoming, on July 8 at 2 p.m. As Pooh once said, “How lucky am I to have something that makes say-
ing goodbye so hard.” Anyone is more than welcome to attend saying goodbye to Joe.
