Jane Ann Slagle, born on Oct. 2, 1933, peacefully passed away on Feb. 2, 2026.

A devoted wife to Delmar Slagle, Jane lived her life full of love and purpose. She was passionate about playing the piano as well as sewing, knitting and always ready for a hike or any activity that kept her moving. Whether it was whipping up a delicious meal
or baking treats, her kitchen was
where her heart was.

Jane was a member of the Mountainview Baptist Church. She professed her faith in Christ over 50 years ago and served the Lord faithfully throughout her life.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Delmar, along with her sons Clint (Tanice) Slagle and Cooper (Dana) Slagle. Jane was a proud grandmother to Tyrel (Kimberly) Slagle and their children, Baker and Bowen, as well
as Toni Herrod and children Dajah, Trezzie, Tru, and Hemi, and Ethan Slagle and Samantha Slagle. She also cherished her bonus granddaughter, Jessica (Tyrell) Catching, and their children, Morgan, Braylon, Milan, and Bailey.

She also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Ramona McKenzie, Shirley Mendenhall, and Ona Mae Fuller.

Jane is now reunited in peace with her parents, Emor and Anna Huskinson; brother, James “Sonny” Huskinson; and sisters, Lydia Hain and Geneva Twyford.

Funeral services were held at the Mountainview Baptist Church in Custer, South Dakota, Saturday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. The graveside committal followed Monday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle, Wyoming.

We will remember Jane with love, laughter, and cherished memories as we honor her incredible spirit.
