CALL FOR BIDS CITY HALL REMODEL
     
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Newcastle, Wyoming will receive sealed bids for the purchase of the following:
Remodel of City Hall including Server room with all electrical and HVAC services brought up to code. Dispatch Center, Evidence Room, Interview room, Administrative Offices 
 
      Complete specifications and related bid requirements for interested persons are available at Newcastle Police Department located at 25 N. Sumner St., Newcastle, Wyoming 82701.
     Each bid must be received by the Newcastle City Clerk at the office of the Newcastle City Clerk, 10 W. Warwick, Newcastle, Wyoming 82701, on or before 5:00 p.m. on the 14th day of January, 2022 to be considered.  All bids will be opened on the 18th day of January, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. by the Governing Body of the City in the City Council Chambers located at 10 W. Warwick, Newcastle, Wyoming 82701.  The successful bidder, if any, shall be announced by the City at such time as the Governing Body of the City may determine appropriate, but no later than thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted if it is determined that none of them would serve the public interest.  If a contract is awarded, it shall be awarded to the bidder whose equipment and/or materials that meet or exceed the minimum specifications of the bid and is, in the discretion of the Governing Body of the City, the best equipment and/or materials for use by the City at the lowest bid price.  Such factors as options, warranties, maintenance and repair statistics, and product design and function, in addition to bid price, shall be considered by the City in awarding this bid.
     Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for City Hall Remodel”.  Each bid must state an approximate installation date and schedule if the bid is accepted.  In any event, installation must be made within (180) days from the date the bid is awarded and contracts are signed.  
     In accordance with Wyoming Statutes Sections 16-6-104 through 16-6-107, preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, software and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the State.
     The City reserves the right to waive any informality.  The acceptance of any bid does not become final and contractually binding upon the city until a formal written contract is executed by the City and the requirements of Wyoming Statue Section 15-1-113 have been met.
