Historic Property Tax Reform Passed the Wyoming House!

By
Rep. Rachel Rodriguez-Williams,
 Wyoming Representative, House District 50,
Chairman, Wyoming Freedom Caucus

Recently, we secured a major victory for homeowners when the Wyoming Freedom Caucus passed historic property tax reform out of the Wyoming House!

For too long, hardworking Wyoming families have been burdened by skyrocketing property taxes based on inflated values. If signed into law, this legislation will ensure that homeowners are no longer taxed on unrealized gains.

This property tax reform bill is aimed at restoring fairness and ensures that you pay taxes on what you actually owe—not what bureaucrats think your home is worth.

As expected, Democrats immediately lodged a protest against the bill. Instead of standing with Wyoming families, they chose to protect bloated government spending and unfair taxation.

The Wyoming Freedom Caucus is leading the charge to keep more money in your pocket and protect property owners from unjust taxes.

But we need your support to continue this fight. With your generous contribution, we will keep pushing for policies that put Wyoming taxpayers first! Let’s keep up this fight today!
