Harlan David Gravos went home with the angels on Jan. 28, 2021, following a brief illness.
Harlan was born in Williston, N.D, to Harold and Lillian Gravos on Dec. 27, 1957. He was the youngest of six children. He spent his childhood on a farm in the Arnegard area. He graduated high school early from Watford City High School.
In November of 1976, Harlan married Pam Weber. From this union they had a son, Rory David. They divorced in 1988. Following that Harlan lived in several states working for various companies including Kerr McGee, PG&E.
In the summer of 1993, while working on a highway construction job south of Newcastle, Wyo., he met Angela Hall. They remained together and married on July 3, 2013.
Harlan enjoyed outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lillian; and his oldest
brother, Ralph.
He is survived by his sisters, Irene Freed Gravos and Judy Gravos Opsta; by brothers, Lynn (Marilyn) and Dwayn Gravos; son, Rory (Nickki) Gravos; and his wife, Angie Gravos. He is also survived by two grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
He will be sadly missed by friends
and family.
