Grieving with You

The Washakie County community is grieving once again.

While every week it seems we have loved ones pass away and are reported here in the Northern Wyoming News. Families and friends grieve for these, but this past week has been rough with two tragic crashes taking two young people from our community.

A week ago, the community gathered in prayer for Roman Parra a 20-year-old man from Worland severely injured in a car crash in Colorado. Now the community grieves with that family as they mourn the loss of Roman, who passed on Sunday.

At 20 years old, he had barely begun his life and it was cut short way too soon.

Also on Sunday, a young 29-year-old Ten Sleep man, Matthew Hoffman, was killed in a single-vehicle rollover. Another young life, gone way too soon.

Any loss is difficult but when they come unexpectedly and tragically it can be especially heartbreaking.

Our condolences to the Hoffman and Parra families, as well as the many other families and friends, who are dealing and have dealt with loss this year in our community.

May you hold your loved ones tight today and do not let a day go by without letting them know how you feel.
