GILLETTE (WNE) — The Gillette Police Department is asking the public for help in finding Kelsey Johnson, a local 32-year-old woman who was last seen April 14.

On May 6, Johnson's mother, a 53-year-old woman, called the GPD to report that Johnson was missing, according to a press release from the city.

She said that Johnson was last seen on April 14 in a mobile home park in Gillette. It was reported that she was picked up by a man in an older model Dodge pickup, and it's believed that she may have traveled to Colorado.

Johnson, also known as Kelsey Hall, is about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighs about 165 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair, but her hair was last known to have been colored with maroon or dark pink highlights.

She has piercings in both ears, tongue, one eyebrow and lip. She has “Ashlyn” tattooed on her right hand, a Gemini symbol on the back of her neck, a quote on her chest, stars on her left foot and unspecified tattoos on her right arm, left arm and right foot. She is known to wear glasses.

Detectives have identified and spoken to several of Kelsey’s friends who confirmed that they have not spoken with her in two to three weeks. The investigation is ongoing.

If anyone has information about Kelsey’s location, they are urged to contact the Gillette Police Department at 307-682-5155.
