Frierson Named Director of Volleyball Operations

Spent the previous two seasons as a volunteer with the UW volleyball program

LARAMIE, Wyo. (July 2, 2024) – Wyoming Head Volleyball Coach Kaylee Prigge has announced the hiring of Elly Frierson as the new Director of Volleyball Operations for the Cowgirls in 2024.

Frierson, who was a 2022 graduate from the University of Florida, has spent each of the past two seasons as a volunteer and operations assistant with the Cowgirls while she was pursuing her Master’s Degree. During her time as an undergrad at Florida, Frierson spent a year as the Assistant Director of Volleyball Operations for the Gators.

At UW, Frierson will be in charge of the day-to-day operations for the Cowgirls while on matchday, she will be in charge of the in-match stating and coding on the Wyoming bench and all technological needs.
