LARAMIE, Wyoming (5/13/25) – The Big 12 Conference announced its Academic All-Big 12 Team for its winter sports on Tuesday. Four University of Wyoming student-athletes were honored.

Warren Carr, Mason Ding, Ethan Ducca and Garrett Ricks all reeled in the award. In order to qualify, the individual must reach a couple benchmarks. They must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher or hit that mark over the last two semesters combined and have participated in 20 percent of the team’s contests. If the student-athlete is a senior that has participated at least two years, they only have to hit the GPA requirement to qualify.

Wyoming is coming off a year where it went 12-6 in duals and 6-3 in conference. The Pokes placed 10th at the Big 12 Tournament and 22nd at the NCAA Championships.
