Four Men’s Golfers Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

LARAMIE, Wyoming (7/29/25) – The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars on Tuesday. Four University of Wyoming men’s golfers were honored.

Patrick Azevedo, Jaren Calkins, Kristof Panke and Damon Vilkauskas garnered the award. In order to earn recognition, a student-athlete must at least be a sophomore, participate in 50 percent of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

It was the third such honor for Azevedo, Calkins and Panke and Vilkauskas’ first since transferring to Wyoming. The Pokes open the 2025-26 season at the Ram Masters Invite in September.
