Fertig Selected to Women’s College All-Star Game

TAMPA, Fla. (March 31, 2025) - Allyson Fertig is one of 20 of the nation’s top players that have been selected to play in the 2025 Women’s College All-Star Game presented by Lilly. The event will be held at the Women’s Final Four in Tampa, Florida. The game is set for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m., Mountain Time and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
Fertig, will suit up for either Team Lieberman or Team Miller, which will be coached by Naismith Hall of Famers and basketball legends Nancy Lieberman and Cheryl Miller, respectively. Fertig was selected to the team along with the likes of other top players in the country, including: Iowa’s Lucy Olsen, North Carolina’s Alyssa Ustby, Mississippi State’s Jerkaila Jordan, amongst others.
The 2025 Mountain West Player of the Year, Fertig became the first player in league history to lead the league in points, rebounding, blocks and field goal percentage. This season, she averaged 18.8 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game while shooting 57.4-percent from the floor. Fertig finished her illustrious career at Wyoming second in program history with 1,860 points, the program’s all-time leader in rebounds with 1,216, was second in career field goals made, third in blocks with 210 and is second in career double-doubles with 48.

In addition to her all-star selection, Fertig will also be participating in the inaugural Women’s College All-Star Combine, also presented by Lilly. The combine will kick off the weekend’s festivities, as that will be held Friday. Draft-level prospects hoping to make one final impression will take part in the general testing, position-specific drill work and controlled scrimmages in front of professional scouts.
