Caps busy weekend for UW legend down in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (April 5, 2025) – Allyson Fertig participated Saturday in the Women’s College All-Star Game down in Tampa, Florida as part of the NCAA Women’s Final Four weekend. Fertig was one of 20 elite college seniors selected to play in the event.

Fertig, who was part of Team Lieberman, had a strong showing in the showcase. The Mountain West Player of the Year finished the game with six points and three rebounds while also getting it done on the defensive end, as she recorded a block and a steal. Fertig’s lone field goal came off a nice catch out of the pick-and-roll for a layup.

Team Miller defeated Team Lieberman in the contest, 71-59. Including the all-star game, Fertig also participated in the first-ever women’s combine Friday down in Tampa.
