As you head to your respective polling place on Tuesday for the 2024 General Election we want to encourage you to be as informed as possible about all candidates and other ballot questions. There is no better voter than an informed voter.
To help people get to know local candidates, the News Letter Journal published our general election section last week. You can find the section for free online at newslj.com or by stopping by the News Letter Journal office.
We also hope you will do your own research on each candidate, watch our previous town hall videos on YouTube and talk to the candidates yourself if possible.
And most importantly. Get out on Tuesday and exercise your right to vote for those who will represent you from the local to national level.
And whether you are watching the Newcastle mayor’s race or the race for Weston County School District No. 1 seats, the News Letter Journal will have results on election night via our Facebook page. And come Thursday, a full story highlighting election results will be featured on the front page of the News Letter Journal.
