Deputies arrest Cheyenne man in connection with Drew Court fire

CHEYENNE (WNE) — Local authorities have arrested a Cheyenne man for third-degree arson in connection with a fire that damaged several campers and a house early Monday morning.

At approximately 1:07 a.m., Laramie County Sheriff’s deputies and Laramie County Fire District 1 personnel responded to the 1000 block of Drew Court for a fire. Several campers and a house were burning and severely damaged.

Following an investigation into the incident, deputies arrested Bocephus Osman.

According to a statement from the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, evidence indicates that Osman started the fire.

Osman was questioned and subsequently booked on charges of third-degree arson. He is considered innocent of all charges until proven guilty in a court of law.
