Dec. 26, 1946–July 7, 2025

Dale Lee Comer, 79, of Newcastle, Wyoming, made his transition from this earth on July 7, 2025. 

Dale was born on Dec. 26, 1946, to Jack Buckley and Hazel Merle (Drake) Comer in Hot Springs, South Dakota. He was the eldest of four children. 

After graduating high school, he was drafted into the Army where he proudly served his country through the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he took a job with Tri-County Electric and finished his career retiring with Powder River Energy. 

Dale enjoyed many things in life, like spending time with his family and friends as well as weight-lifting. Most of all he enjoyed driving his Corvettes and riding his Harley with the sun on his back, wind in his hair, friends at his side, and a whiskey when he was done. 

Dale is survived by his longtime partner, Nora Weeg; his children, Travis (Michelle) Comer and children Telsie and Jacob, Toby (Katie) Comer and children Elijah, John, and Dane, Jeremy Ault, Greg Ault, Melissa Ault with Autumn and Nova; and his siblings, Lynda Hunt and Shelley Lebolo. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Babe Comer; and his brother, Douglas (Dougie) Comer.
