Crook County to host statewide GOP gathering

SUNDANCE (WNE) — Crook County has been selected as the official host of the upcoming Wyoming Republican Party State Central Committee Meeting set to take place August 22–23, 2025 at the Greater Hulett Community Center.
This two-day event will draw Republican Party leadership and delegates from all 23 counties across the state, making it one of the most significant political gatherings to be held in Crook County in recent years.
“This is a tremendous honor for our county,” said Mark Koep, Chairman of the Crook County Republican Party. “It’s a reflection of the energy, leadership and commitment our members have shown in advancing conservative values. Hosting this meeting puts Crook County at the center of key decisions and strategy discussions for the future of the Wyoming GOP.”
The SCC meeting is comparable in size and scope to the well-known Lincoln Day Dinners, but will span two full days of official party business, breakout sessions and networking among the state’s most active Republican voices.
Local officials expect the event to bring not only political visibility but also a small economic boost for the area’s hotels, restaurants, and local vendors.
