Cowgirls Play Well on the Courts at Denver

UW picks up five singles wins
DENVER, Colo. (Oct. 25, 2025) – The Wyoming Cowgirls bounced back in a big way Saturday down at Denver for the Colorado Cup. The Cowgirls won 5-of-6 singles matches against the host Pioneers.
“I’m extremely proud of the resiliency this team showed today,” said Head Coach Dean Clower.
“With the injuries we have, we needed someone to step up, and it was the whole dang team. We were extremely disciplined across the board, which is what made the difference today. A huge thank you to the fans that made the trip down.
The Cowgirls got a trio of straight-set victories Saturday. Silver Bijlsma won her matchup 6-1 and 6-2. Anastasiia Kochelaevskaia was victorious 6-1 and 6-1 while Ruby Young took a 6-3, 7-5 win in her matchup.
