Cowgirls to Play in 2024 Discover Puerto Rico Shootout
UW will play three games the week of Thanksgiving
LARAMIE, Wyo. (July 30, 2024) – The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team will participate in the 2024 Discover Puerto Rico Shootout held over the week of Thanksgiving, November 28-30. The shootout was announced and will be hosted by Sport Tours International.
Wyoming will play a trio of games down in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Cowgirls open play on November 28 against defending Missouri Valley champion Drake. Day two Nov. 29 will be a matchup with Norfolk State. The shootout ends the 30th as UW and Viriginia will face-off. All games will be at 2:30 p.m., local time.
Cowgirl fans who are interested in making the trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico can purchase fan packages at this link HERE. The package includes a four-night (11-27-12/1) stay at the San Juan Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino at a reduced rate. Rooms are single or double occupancy. Airfare, ground transportation and meals are NOT included in the package.
