Snaps two-match winning streak for Wyoming
BOISE, Idaho (April 6, 2025) – It was a tough day on the courts for the Wyoming Cowgirl tennis team Sunday as its two-match winning streak was snapped by Boise State on the road. The Broncos blanked the Cowgirls, 4-0.
The Cowgirls (6-14, 3-5 MW) had a pair that won the first of their singles matches before they were called after Boise State clinched the team victory. Eugenia Ceinos at No. 3 won her first set 6-2 while at No. 5, Dilnaz Mashabayeva won the first, 7-5. Ceinos and her doubles, Elena Trencheva were leading 5-0 at No. 2 doubles before the Broncos clinched the point.
Wyoming will be off Friday of this upcoming week and will next be in action Sunday, April 13 at 11 a.m., as it hosts Colorado State in the home finale for the Cowgirls.
