Cowgirls Again Receive AVCA Team Academic Award

18th straight season UW was honored

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 23, 2026) – For the 18th consecutive season, the Wyoming Cowgirls were named to the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

The Cowgirls were one of 1,432 schools across college and high school to have maintained a team GPA of 3.30 or better for the academic year. As a team, UW had a GPA of 3.51 in 2025-26 while Paige Lauterwasser was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. The Cowgirls also had 12 on the Academic All-Mountain West Team.

Wyoming Volleyball reports to fall camp July 29 with the first day of practice slated for the 30th. The Cowgirls officially kick off the season August 28 at 6:30 p.m., inside the Arena-Auditorium as Texas Tech comes to Laramie to open the Rumble in the Rockies Tournament.
