Cowboys Fill Up the Platform Final to Close Weekend of Diving

USAFA, Colo. (Jan. 31, 2026) – All four Cowboys made the finals in the platform dive to wrap up the Air Force Diving Invitational, Saturday.

Sophomore Kael Kropf led the Cowboys in the platform prelims with a sixth-place score of 301.45, a personal best and first over 300 points. In the final, he would finish tied for sixth with a score of 297.15.

Sophomore Jonah Mann also would enter the final and finish in the same place. In the prelims, he scored 279.30 points for ninth and would follow up in finals action with 282.45 points.

Junior Bruno Grau and freshman Connor Liddle made their first final of the weekend, taking 11th and 12th in the prelim, respectively.

Grau would score 255.30 points and finish the finals with a score of 253.15 for 11th. Liddle remained in 12th after scoring 231.15 points. In the prelim, he recorded a personal best point total of 245.90.

In the women’s platform prelim, senior Alicia Gonzalez led the Cowgirls in 17th with a score of 174.20. Senior Natalie Six would finish 28th with 140.80 points while freshman Savannah Kierstead took 29th with a score of 134.50.

UP NEXT

Swimming will rejoin diving for the DU First Chance Meet, Feb. 6-7, in Denver, Colo. Several student-athlete who have not yet competed this season will get their first chance to perform.
