Cowboys and Cowgirls Honored as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS (January 30, 2025) – The University of Wyoming men’s and women’s cross country teams were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches’ Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams, released on Thursday.
To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The full USTFCCCA release can be found here.
The honor follows a historic year for the men’s and women’s squads. The Cowboys made the NCAA Championship as a team for the first time since 2018, earned two Second-Team All-Mountain West finishes and two Mountain West Athlete of the Week awards. For the Cowgirls, they had two Mountain West Athlete of the Week awards and had a First-Team All-Mountain West finish.
