Cowboys Add Transfer Cornerback to 2025 Roster

He comes to Wyoming from Mercer
LARAMIE, Wyo. (May 20, 2025) – Cowboy football head coach Jay Sawvel announced Tuesday the addition of transfer cornerback Dainsus Miller to the 2025 roster. Miller played the last two seasons at Mercer leading the Bears to a deep playoff run in the FCS Playoffs last season.
Miller is listed at 5-10, 170-pounds and is a native of Fairburn, Ga. Last season, he recorded 23 total tackles and had four interceptions. He also blocked one kick and finished the campaign with seven pass breakups. He recorded six tackles against North Dakota State in the FCS Playoffs, as he also added two pass breakups. He recorded two interceptions in a contest against Wofford. He played in nine games in 2023 with nine tackles and three pass breakups. He spent his freshman season at Marshall spending most of his time on special teams.
A graduate of Creekside High School, Miller had 49 tackles as a senior with an interception, two forced fumbles and recoveries along with a dozen pass breakups. He had 46 tackles as a junior with three interceptions. Also excelled in track and field winning a state team title.
