Becky Hadlock
I want to hold the office of Weston County Clerk for several reasons.  One of my top priorities will be making sure the public is informed and up to date on what is going on in Weston County.  I will make sure the agendas for the Weston County Commissioner meetings are posted prior to the meetings.  Additionally, I will ensure the current minutes are posted in their entirety to the website in a timely matter.  I feel that Weston County loses a lot of revenue to the surrounding counties, when the taxpayers choose to go elsewhere for their titles/license plates. I will work with the other elected officials to see how we can get this lost revenue back.
The opportunity to hold the office of Weston County Clerk appeals to me on many levels. First and foremost, I have spent the past 20 years of my professional career as the office manager with Weston County Road and Bridge, so the type of work I will be doing will be very comfortable to me and I plan on hitting the ground running! I love dealing with the public, which allows me to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Throughout my career, I have developed excellent customer service and organizational skills and I am excited for the opportunity to apply those skills in the clerk’s office.
Thank you for your continued support, I would appreciate your vote on Nov. 6.
