GERD GUSTAV ACHENBACH

Gerd Gustav Achenbach passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 10, 2022, at home in Newcastle, Wyo. He was born October 1973, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ronald and Renate (Reich) Achenbach.
He enjoyed his job and the people he worked with at PAR Pacific in Newcastle.
Gerd spent his summers as a child in Germany on his grandparents’ farm. This led to his love of traveling and sharing his childhood with his nieces and nephews. Gerd was proud to serve his country in the U. S. Marine Corps after high school. He enjoyed a good movie, video games, feisty conversations with his brother and sister, but most of all spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Gerd is survived by his brother, Donald (Amanda) of Waldron, Mich.; sister, Hollie of Jacksonville, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Arianna, Kayla, Julianna, Stephen, Nevaeh, Maria, Donald, Emory, and Laurell; aunt, Diane (Nick) Fischer; and uncles, Garland (Joan) Achenbach and Dieter Schneider.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Gustav and Meta Reich and Clifford and Macel Achenbach.
Services will be held at a later date.
