Cowgirls Continue Play at Denver Ron Moore Intercollegiate

Denver, Colo. - (Oct. 8, 2022) – The Wyoming Cowgirl golf squad continued play at the Denver Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Friday completing the second round of action at University of Denver Golf Club.  
After two rounds of play, Jadan Gonzalez leads the way for the Cowgirls posting a second-round score of 73 (+1) moving her total score to 150 (+6) currently sitting in a tie for 49th. Morgan Ryan improved upon her first-round score shooting a second round of 76 (+4) finishing the day tied for 64th with a total score of 153 (+9). Samantha Hui closed out the day with a two-round score of 154 (+10) currently sitting in a tie for 67th. Kyla Wilde and Rachel Stoinski round out the Cowgirl lineup finishing the second round tied for 75th and 81strespectively.  
Playing as an individual, Jessica Zapf closed out the second in 90th with a score of 162 (+18).  
As a team, the Cowgirls finished day two of competition in 16th with a team score of 612 (+36) trailing 15thplace Hawaii by eight strokes. Vanderbilt continues to lead the team race with a score of 555 (-21) sitting well ahead of second place New Mexico with round left to play. 
The Cowgirls will close out the tournament tomorrow with the final 18 holes of play set to tee off at 9:00 a.m. MT.
