Cody man missing; authorities see public’s help

POWELL (WNE) — The Cody Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 36-year-old man who’s been missing since early last week. 

Shawn Ezekiel Hughes was last seen around 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, walking southeast from Yellowstone Regional Airport. 

Police said Hughes may have been experiencing a possible mental health episode. 

At the time he went missing, Hughes was wearing a blue T-shirt, black jogger pants, black and white sneakers, and a shoulder brace from a recent medical procedure. 

Anyone who has seen Hughes or has any information related to his whereabouts is asked to contact Cody police at 307-527-8700 or by calling 911. 

“Please share to help bring him home safely,” the department said in a Facebook post. The post had been shared more than 360 times as of Monday afternoon, but Hughes had yet to be found.
