City of Newcastle Public Notice May 14, 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Newcastle, Weston County, Wyoming, in accordance with its municipal authority and pursuant to Wyoming Statute Β§ 15-1-112, has approved the trade-in of certain municipal equipment.

The City has authorized the trade-in of a 2002 Case 580 SM Backhoe, currently owned by the City of Newcastle, as part of the purchase agreement for a 2026 John Deere 320P Backhoe.

This action was approved by the governing body of the City of Newcastle at a duly noticed public meeting held on May 4, 2026. The governing body determined that the trade-in is in the best interest of the City and serves a valid municipal purpose.

The equipment identified above has been declared surplus to the needs of the City in connection with this transaction.

Additional information regarding this action may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office, City of Newcastle, Wyoming, during normal business hours.
