Cheyenne Frontier Days night show ticket sales postponed after ‘bot attack’

CHEYENNE (WNE) — Ticket sales for the 2025 Frontier Nights concerts at Cheyenne Frontier Days have been postponed until 9 a.m. Monday due to a cybersecurity incident Thursday, a CFD news release said.
According to the release, a bot attack disrupted the ticket buying processes on the AXS platform, preventing a fair and smooth experience for ticket buyers.
To ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to purchase tickets, Cheyenne Frontier Days is postponing ticket sales until Monday morning. The AXS team is actively reinforcing measures to protect against automated purchases and ensure a fair buying process, the release said.
“We strive to protect and maintain the integrity of our ticket sales to the public,” said Tom Hirsig, CEO of Cheyenne Frontier Days. “Unfortunately, our Frontier Nights ticket launch was targeted by an attack that surpassed anything AXS anticipated. We understand the concern and frustration this may cause our CFD community. We want to assure our ticket buyers, fans, and partners that providing fair and affordable tickets to our event is our top priority.”
The 2025 lineup consists of performances from headliners Ian Munsick, Bailey Zimmerman, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Cody Johnson and Megan Moroney, as well as performances from openers Travis Tritt, Josh Ross, Chancey Williams, Priscilla Block and Randy Houser.
Tickets can be bought and accessed through the AXS website, app or at cfdrodeo.com.
