CHARLES M. ‘MAX’ DABNEY
Aug. 18, 1934–July 20, 2020
Charles M. “Max” Dabney, age 85, passed away on July 20, 2020.
He was born Aug. 18, 1934, in Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, and step-grandson Justice of Newcastle. 
He was preceded in death by his step-son, Tully.
In California he has four children by his first wife, Leona (now deceased), Charles, John, Christina, and Jim. He has seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Max was an U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He played football for the army and was offered a football scholarship at Colorado State University.
Max was an avid hunter, and loved his garden. Above all, he loved the Lord, and would spend hours in his library studying the Lord’s word, for us our only hope.
