Casper police continue to investigate Sunday shootings

CASPER (WNE) — The Casper Police Department is continuing to investigate two separate Sunday night shootings in the city.
Officials said the two shootings were unrelated and that three people had been hospitalized between them, according to a news release issued by the department Sunday evening.
One occurred at Foxhill Apartments at 1900 S. Missouri Ave., and the other was reported in the 100 block of South Washington Street.
A police call log from the weekend indicated that the call on Missouri Avenue came in at 6:54 p.m. on Sunday. While responding to that call, Casper Police received reports of the shooting on Washington Street. That call came in at 7:06 p.m.
Two people were hospitalized with “apparent gunshot wounds” in the Foxhill Apartments incident. One was injured in the Washington Street shooting. All were taken to Banner Wyoming Medical Center.
CPD was unable to immediately respond to a request for additional information Monday.
The status of the people shot is unclear, as is whether or not CPD has identified any suspects in the shootings.
