CANDIS IRENE MEYERS

Candis Irene Meyers, 57, of Newcastle, Wyo., passed away at home surrounded by her family on Oct. 10, 2018.
Candis was born Sept. 16, 1961, in Ridley Park, Pa. Candis lived in Newcastle for 23 years. She was the daughter of Robert and Thelma Danks.
She is preceded in death by her longtime soul mate, Edwin Oliver; her son, Clay Oliver; her parents; and her brother, Bobby Danks. Candis is survived by her children, Autumn Meyers and Ryan Oliver; grandsons, Dayton Williams and Cameron Williams; her stepchildren, Josh Oliver, Julie Oliver, Travis Oliver, Adam Oliver and their families; and her sisters, Sandy Phelps, Robyn Parrish, Patty Fennelly, Sherry Faust and Joyce Kracht and all of their families. Last but not least, she is survived by her very special friend that was in her heart, Jim Finley.
Everyone knew her as Candi. She loved watching her son and grandsons play sports, especially baseball every summer. Candi was a big fan of the Seattle Seahawks. She loved all of her friends and the community very much. Candi worked at Subway for many years. 
She then moved on to work at Weston County Senior Services in Newcastle, until she got sick. She worked at the center for four years. The senior center was like a second family to her. She loved everyone at the center very much.
Memorial services will be held Oct. 20 at the Weston County Senior Center, 627 Pine St. in Newcastle at 2 p.m.
