"On Call with the Prairie Doc®" Kicks Off 24th Season, Continues Legacy of Trusted Health Education

Brookings, S.D. – September 2, 2025 – On Call with the Prairie Doc® is set to begin its 24th season on Thursday, September 11, 2025, bringing trusted health information and expert insights to viewers across the region and beyond. The new season will launch with a special “Ask Anything” episode, inviting audiences to submit their most pressing health questions.
Created by the late Dr. Rick Holm and his partner Joanie Holm, CNP, On Call with the Prairie Doc® has a long-standing mission: to enhance health and diminish suffering by providing compassionate, science-based information. This legacy continues with hosts Dr. Andrew Ellsworth, Dr. Debra Johnston, Dr. Jill Kruse, and Dr. Kelly Evans-Hullinger. They will be joined by a diverse group of health professionals from across the state who will offer the latest health updates and guidance.
The show empowers viewers to make informed decisions for themselves and their families by breaking down complex health topics into clear, understandable advice.
