Caden Barnett Set to Play in East-West Shrine Bowl on Tuesday

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Jan. 26, 2026) – Former Cowboy offensive lineman Caden Barnett is set to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl on Tuesday evening. It is the second postseason All-Star game for the All-MW selection, as he played in the Hula Bowl earlier this month. He will represent the West squad in the 101st playing of the game.
The contest will be televised on the NFL Network with a 5 p.m. MT start at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas.
Barnett appeared in and started all 12 games at guard this season. He also spent three seasons playing tackle for the Pokes. He was the highest graded guard in the MW this season by Pro Football Focus and earned Second Team All-Mountain West honors. He recorded 80 knockdowns on the season to lead the team and was the to the Pro Football Focus Team of the Week in the ninth week of the season. Barnett played in 48 career games with 34 starts.
