Blessed by the good news we’ve been sharing
Dear Editor,
Happy New Year!
Thank you for the history and current events each week. God bless Newcastle and America at large.
This past issue of the NLJ was especially interesting.
Thank you for many features:
Recently (February 18) was Yoko Ono’s birth anniversary. She shares that date with Jerry Baird and Pastor Chuck Gadway. Yoko, John Lennon’s wife, was Japanese and I thought of the young man embarking to Japan. Philosophy and mathematics, yes! A good story.
Thank you NLJ for your coverage of the Old Mill and Anna Miller. The former was my first stop in Newcastle on January 8, 2006. I resided in town and the sandstone calvary buildings will hold forever a special place in my heart.
Finally, the jokes and refried classifieds were hysterical.
Keep up the good work!
