Black Hills Wyoming Gas PUBLIC NOTICE

The Wyoming Public Service Commission (Commission) approved the Application of Black Hills Wyoming Gas, LLC d/b/a Black Hills Energy (BHWG) for authority to pass on a Gas Cost Adjustment (GCA) rate increase of $0.0331 per therm for non-Choice Gas customers, effective for usage on and after March 1, 2026. The rate applies to customers in Cheyenne and Cody divisions and all non-Choice Gas customers in the Casper, Gillette, and Torrington divisions who have elected to take service under the GCA rate. 

The proposed rate will increase the monthly bill for a typical residential customer $1.28 or 2.3% during March 2026 through May 2026. Actual bills will vary with usage.

Anyone desiring to file a statement, intervention petition, protest, or request for a public hearing must file with the Commission on or before September 22, 2026. A proposed intervention or request for hearing must set forth the grounds and the position and interest of the petitioner in this proceeding.
