Black bear found in barn in east Cheyenne, captured by Game and Fish

CHEYENNE (WNE) — A black bear was captured after being spotted early Tuesday morning in the 6000 block of East Pershing Boulevard, near Whitney Road.

According to a Facebook post by the Cheyenne Police Department, the bear was found inside a barn in the 6000 block of Pershing.

It was safely captured by wildlife experts with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, tranquilized and relocated.

There were no injuries to residents or the bear, according to the CPD post.
