Once in a small town, there lived a boy named Alex. He was curious about the world around him, always asking questions. One day, while exploring his grandmother’s attic, he found an old, dusty Bible. It looked ancient, with worn-out pages and a beautiful cover. Intrigued, he decided to take it home.

That night, Alex sat on his bed and opened the Bible. At first, the words seemed strange to him. He read about creation, the stories of Adam and Eve, and Noah’s Ark. Each story filled his mind with wonder. He couldn’t believe how many amazing tales were hidden in those pages.

As days went by, Alex became more and more curious. He learned about Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt and David battling Goliath. He felt like he was part of these great adventures. But there was one story that touched his heart deeply—the story of Jesus. Jesus was kind and loving. He helped the poor, healed the sick, and showed everyone the meaning of compassion.

Alex didn’t just read the stories; he started to think about their meaning. He learned how Jesus talked about love and forgiveness. He read John 13:34-35, where Jesus said, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

One evening, as he sat in his room, he felt a lump in his throat. He realized that he had made mistakes too. He had been rude to his little sister and hadn’t been kind to his friends sometimes. Suddenly, a warm feeling spread through him as he understood that he could ask for forgiveness and become a better person. He remembered the words of 1 John 1:9, which says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

With a newfound hope, Alex began to pray. He asked for guidance and strength to change. Each day, he tried to be kinder, sharing his toys and helping his sister with her homework. Friends noticed his change and started to spend more time with him.

As weeks passed, Alex felt lighter and happier. He discovered that true happiness comes not from having things, but from loving and caring for others. Acts 20:35 reminds us, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

One Sunday, he decided to go to church with his grandmother. There, he met many people who shared the same beliefs. They welcomed him with open arms.

Through reading the Bible, Alex found salvation through Jesus Christ. He learned that loving others and asking for forgiveness could change everything. He had come to understand the meaning of John 3:16, where it says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Alex’s journey had just begun, and he was excited to see where it would lead him next.
