BHP PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act and the Wyoming Public Service Commission’s (Commission) Procedural Rules and Special Regulations, notice is hereby given of the Application of Black Hills Power, Inc. d/b/a Black Hills Energy (BHP or Company) for authority to pass on an Energy Cost Adjustment increase of $0.00030 per kilowatt hour for all customers for the period of September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025, as more fully described below.
BHP is a public utility subject to the Commission’s jurisdiction. Wyo. Stat. §§37- 1-101(a)(vi)(C) and 37-2-112.
On July 15, 2024, BHP filed an Application to pass on an increase of $0.00030 per kWh in its Energy Cost Adjustment (ECA) rate, resulting in an ECA rate of $0.0058 per kWh from $0.0055 per kWh, effective for usage on and after September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025. BHP states that the increase is primarily due to a reduction in long-term wholesale revenue and Power marketing margin.

Anyone wishing to file a statement, intervention petition, protest or request for a public hearing in this matter must do so in writing filed with the Commission on or before August 22, 2024. Any intervention request filed with the Commission shall set forth the grounds of the proposed intervention or request for hearing as well as the position and the interest of the petitioner in this proceeding.
