On March 26, 2020, Betty Juel Henderson, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was called home by the Lord.
Betty’s greatest love was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all the kids whose lives she touched with her love and kindness.
Betty was a huge San Francisco Giants fan, and had a great love for her dogs.
Betty was born May 24, 1941, in Cody, Neb., to Juel and Max Harman. She had two brothers, Rick and Bill, and one sister, Sandy.
Betty married Art Henderson and together they had five children, 13 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
Children: Ben (Donna), LaVonne, Matt, Laura (Wayne), and Betty Ann; grandchildren, Jessica (Samatha), Matt (Megan), Carmen (Jeff), Mathew, Sarah (Jason), Mickeal (Deon), Ben, Caroline (Justin), Bill (Kelly), Amanda (Joey), Alissa (Dustin), Lesley (Travis), and Cliff (Liz); and her great-grandchildren, Tristin, Devon, Lenny, Daisy, Brendan, Kati, Hannah, Noah, Mathew, Dylen, Dalton, Camilla, MaKara, Connar, Grace, Khya, Aurora, Kendall, Ayonna, Lillian, Barlin, Lucas, Tristan, Logan, Allyssa, Mitchell, Marsden, Colten, Braylee, Owen, Stella, and Jace.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Juel Harman; her daughter, Betty Ann; her son, Mathew; and her brother, Bill.
As per Betty’s wishes, there will be graveside services Friday, April 3, at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle.
