LARAMIE, Wyoming (10/14/24) – Alyssa Bedard enjoyed an eventful week of soccer. The University of Wyoming senior scored in a win over No. 11 Utah State and her flip throw assisted Taylor Brook in scoring against Boise State. As a result, Bedard was named Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Bedard’s score against the Aggies was her team-leading fifth goal of the season and 16th of her career, which moves her into a tie for eighth all-time in program history. It helped Wyoming log its first-ever victory over a ranked foe.
The Cowgirls travel to the Silver State this week. They battle Nevada on Thursday at 7 p.m. and UNLV on Sunday at 1 p.m.
