Arrest made in fatal shooting

CHEYENNE (WNE) — A 19-year-old Cheyenne resident was arrested on charges of second-degree murder in connection to a fatal shooting, according to a press release from the Laramie County Sheriff ’s Office.
Friday morning at approximately 12:14 a.m., deputies responded to a shooting at a residence at the West Winds Mobile Home Park, located at 505 Williams St. They arrived to find 18-year-old Ryan Snow had been fatally shot following an argument between Snow and Nathan Pfaff.
Deputies detained two individuals in connection with the shooting Friday, and by Saturday, Pfaff had been arrested. The identity of the second individual, who is not a suspect in the homicide, was not released to the public.
Cheyenne typically has a low rate of homicides, with only three occurring in 2024, according to the Cheyenne Police Department. Two of those were ruled as “justified” homicides by the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office.
