NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
 
The Weston County Fire Protection District is accepting sealed bids on the following equipment: #1: 1980 GMC/Indiana Fire Apparatus Diesel Structure Engine (passed pump test 10/7/2021), #2: 1981 GMC V-8 7000/Indiana Fire Apparatus 4x4 Truck, #3: 1978 International Loadstar 1700 4x4 Truck, #4: 1963 Dodge M37 ¾ Ton 4x4 Truck, #5: 1974 International Loadstar 1700 4x4 Truck.  Vehicles #2 - #5 can be inspected M-F 8:00 – 5:00 at the WCFPD Shop located at 3166 West Main Street Newcastle WY. Vehicle #1 is located at the Osage Fire Hall and can be inspected by calling (307) 746-2031 to make an appointment.  Bids must be received in a sealed envelope clearly stating, “Bid For Equipment Enclosed”. Bids must be received in the Fire District Office no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.  Bids may be dropped off at the Fire District Office at 3166 West Main Street Newcastle WY or mailed to PO Box 937 Newcastle WY 82701. Bids will be opened at 6:00 p.m. at the regular monthly meeting held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Newcastle Fire Hall. Successful bidders must remove the equipment from the property promptly upon notification of their successful bid. Equipment is sold “as is” with no guarantees whatsoever. The Weston County Fire Protection District reserves the right to refuse any and all bids.
