02.14.19 Meeting Notice

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
 
The City of Newcastle, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 7:15 P.M. local time, on March 4, 2019 in the Council Chambers.  The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project:
 
Newcastle Radio Read Meters
 
At the meeting, the City of Newcastle will present a description of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and funding plan. Further description and information of the project can be reviewed at the Newcastle City Office and by contacting the City Engineer Mike Moore (307) 746-3535.
Based on current cost estimates, the City of Newcastle plans to borrow $500,000 from the Wyoming Clean Water State Revolving Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments.  Increased fees will repay the loan with an average rate increase estimated as $1.05/month per user to repay the loan with terms of 0% interest and a payment period of 20 years.
