Stirring the pot
By

To the Editor:
Stirring the pot is oft’ necessary,
For your supper to turn out just right.
But all good chefs know they need to be wary,
And that stirring don’t take all of your might.
Laws and recipes both need to be followed,
If you desire the proper edible result.
Otherwise your product isn’t fit to be
swallowed.
And it is your own damed fault.
If you think the ends justify any means,
And ignore what don’t fit your taste,
You can ruin even simple pork and beans,
And your time at the stove was a waste.
They say Democrats stick together like a wolf
pack,
And Republicans are more like herding cats.
Those pot stirrers who are always on the
attack,
Are not confined strictly to Democrats!
