The Kozisek Aquatic Center is gearing up for a full schedule of summer swimming, but when the new school year begins some changes are going to be made at the facility to address a funding crunch currently being experienced by the Eastern Weston County Recreation District, which primarily funds the facility.

With revenue shortfalls continuing across the state, money saving options are being considered by a number of different boards around Wyoming and the local Recreation Board is no different. On May 31, following the Weston County School District #1 Board Meeting, the group met as the Recreation Board and approved a number of changes designed to increase revenue and save money at the Aquatic Center.
