Men’s Golf in 21st After Day 2 of the Falcon Invite

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (9/21/25) – The University of Wyoming men’s golf team completed Day 2 of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite on Sunday. The Cowboys are in 21st at 592 (+16) following a Day 2 team score of 295 (+7) in a tournament being played at Eisenhower – Blue Course.

“We are getting better, and attitudes are good,” head coach Joe Jensen said. “We are going through a young team building process. We’ll go play a good round tomorrow, show some maturity and make a few less mistakes.”

Kristof Panke continues to lead the Pokes. He’s tied for 19th at 142 (-2) after carding a 72 (E) in the second round. His Sunday included four birdies.

Brody Leid and Ryker Lind are both tied for 64th at 148 (+4). Leid enjoyed a second round 72 (E), while Lind recorded a 74 (+2).

Conner Scheich rounds out the team score. He’s positioned 106th at 154 (+10) following a Round 2 score of 77 (+5).

Kellen Ball is tied for 110th at 156 (+12). He also logged a second-round score of 77 (+5).

Gonzaga leads the team standings at 565 (-11). Idaho and UC San Diego are both tied for second at 566 (-10). Utah Valley’s Paxton Maxwell is atop the individual leaderboard at 135 (-9).

Brody Knowlton and Austin Barry are participating in the individual tournament on the Silver Course. Knowlton is tied for 10th at 141 (-3), and Barry is tied for 22nd at 145 (+1).

The third and final round gets underway Monday at 7:30 a.m.
